The care of the vineyard in all its processing, from pruning to harvesting, everything is followed step by step by Alessandro who with great passion deals with the management of the work in the vineyard and then in the cellar.

PROPERTY OF PROSECCO

GRAPES GLERA.

The property of prosecco is to derive from the GLERA grape, a particularly sweet and fruity grape that gives a savory but full and full-bodied taste, and thanks to these characteristics it is possible to produce a harmonious and velvety wine even with reduced sugar residue. It has a bright straw yellow color, fine and persistent perlage with a fruity scent of ripe green and yellow berry fruit.

OBJECTIVE

HIGH QUALITY AND SUSTAINABLE PROSECCO.

The goal of Sorelle Ghirardello is to continue the path taken, that is the production of a high quality and sustainable prosecco, without chasing mass productions that would affect the quality that for us is fundamental and in which we firmly believe.
Sorelle Ghirardello differs from other wineries for the company’s choice to produce a smaller quantity of bottles, to aim at a niche product and high quality derived from a careful selection of the bunches in harvest, with the subsequent passage in the cellar that involves a partial pressing of the bunches, 55% of flower must. This process guarantees a wine of the highest quality and aromas.
The choice of Sorelle Ghirardello to produce Prosecco falls mainly on the fact that our land falls within the DOCG Asolo and therefore in the area suited to the production of this wine.

Our soil allows and guarantees an excellent quality of the product because being hilly and at the foot of Monte Grappa it always has constant ventilation that guarantees an excellent setting of the plant, avoiding the proliferation of fungal diseases and ensuring a perfect microclimate and health of the vine.
